Greathouse Park was a gift to the City of Fayetteville from Jack and Bessie Greathouse in 1954. Greathouse's 6 acres of land are in the floodway of Town Branch Creek and located south of 15th Street on Price Avenue. The park was originally named Oberman Park but was renamed in 1974 to recognize the donors.
