I'm only going to be parked for a few minutes. Can I park for free?

You may park on-street for up to 15 minutes without paying the rate:

  • The 2-hour on-street meters are equipped with sensors that will automatically detect your arrival time so that you may park for up to 15 minutes without having to interact with the meter.
  • The long-term on-street meters do not have sensors but you can start your free 15 minute sessions by pushing any button on the meter upon your arrival.
  • In the surface lots, simply enter your license plate at the pay station.

If your parking session is expected to last longer than 15 minutes, be sure to make payment accordingly.
