The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will meet at 9am on Tuesday, January 29th. The meeting will take place at the Parks and Recreation Department offices in the Conference Room. The purpose of the meeting is the annual orientation of current and new members of PRAB by Parks and Recreation Staff.
Board members will get a broad overview of the department that includes:
- The different divisions, key staff, and their responsibilities
- Parks and Recreation budget overview
- Park Land and Facilities overview
- Park Land Dedication overview
- Program and special event descriptions
- Responsibilities and expectations of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Members
- Press is invited to attend
- Refreshments will be provided
