RE: FAYETTEVILLE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN FENTANYL CASE
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of three individuals in connection with an ongoing fentanyl investigation.
Over the past week, detectives with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force received information that fentanyl in the form of spray was being sold in the Northwest Arkansas area.
On April 20, 2018, Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force detectives conducted surveillance on the suspects. The subsequent investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 135 dosage units of fentanyl sublingual spray, 26 strips of Suboxone, and 10 amphetamine and dextroamphetamine pills.
Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force detectives arrested Brandy Daniels, age 37, of Lincoln, Timothy Marrs, age 27, of Goshen, and Shawn Landrus, age 46, of Fayetteville for multiple counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose Deliver.
The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of officers representing Farmington, Fayetteville, Greenland, Goshen, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Springdale and West Fork Police Departments and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
This investigation is ongoing.
