Free Parking in West Avenue Lot and Spring Street Parking Deck
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Visitors to Fayetteville’s Dickson Street Entertainment District may enjoy free parking in the Spring Street Parking Deck after 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17. Paid parking in the deck will be reinstated at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18.
In addition, free parking will be available all day Saturday, Nov. 19, in the West Avenue parking lot and the Spring Street Parking Deck to coincide with the Walton Arts Center’s Grand Reopening Celebration. Paid parking will be reinstated at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20.
These free parking events are great opportunities to highlight some of the parking resources available to the public as the community celebrates and explores the newly renovated Walton Arts Center.
The Spring Street Deck is located on W. Spring Street, between N. West Avenue and N. School Avenue, behind the Walton Arts Center. Vehicle entrances are located on N. School Avenue and on W. Spring Street. The deck, with its three floors of covered parking and terrific rooftop view, opened in October 2015, adding 235 parking spaces to the Dickson Street Entertainment District. The West Avenue lot is located directly across from the Walton Arts Center.
There is no charge for parking (on-street, deck, lots) from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Dickson Street Entertainment District. In the Downtown Square Business District, there is no charge for municipal parking on weekends or from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. during the week. To learn more about available public parking please visit the City of Fayetteville’s website here.
