Thursday’s Gulley Park Concert Features Austin Band Blue Healer

FAYETTEVLLE, Ark. — Fayetteville’s Parks and Recreation Department is excited to celebrate the 2016 Gulley Park Summer Concert Series as the 20th year of concerts in the park! Two great concerts are already behind us – no worries though because we still have four performances to finish out the summer! The band Blue Healer will be rocking the park tomorrow night in the gazebo area at Gulley Park – music starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Like all Gulley Park Summer Concerts, it will be fun and free with food vendors on site! Furry friends are welcome!

Blue Healer, hailing from Austin, believes music should be fun. Mixing distorted upright bass, shimmering guitar, analog synths, and drums, the Texas native trio blends a unique mesh of indie rock and dance sounds into the familiar fabric of classic songwriting. Picture the face of pop accessibility with the teeth of basement rock n’ roll – the songs sink in and don’t let go.

The remaining lineup for this summer includes:
• June 23 – Blue Healer
• July 7 – Danielle Nicole
• July 21 – Flashback
• August 4 – Effron White

Thanks to all of the bands and fans who help to make the Gulley Park Summer Concert Series what it is – including our sponsors: White River Nursery, Hilton Garden Inn, Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream, Magic 107.9, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Ozark Natural Foods, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Slim Chickens, Storms Orthodontics, The Belford Group, Tooley’s Barbecue, and Whole Foods for making this year’s concerts possible. Also, our thanks go to JTH Productions for providing great sound and lighting at all of our summer concerts. All concerts are recorded and can be viewed on the Fayetteville Government Channel.

See you at the shows!
