Fayetteville Fire Department Hosts Open House This Thursday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —The Fayetteville Fire Department will host an open house this Thursday, June 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fire Station #5 (2979 N. Crossover Road – corner of Crossover & Old Wire).

Fire Safety Theme: Grilling Safety and Fireworks Safety
• Did you know July is the peak month for grill fires and burn injuries?
• Did you know each July Fourth, thousands of people are injured while using consumer fireworks?
• Come to the Open House and find out how to use fireworks safely, be a safe griller and so much more!

The Fire Department invites you to visit the station – explore the fire trucks and other apparatus; tour the station and see where the firefighters eat, sleep and train during their shift. Participants are encouraged to sign-up to have smoke alarm installed for free. Learn how to provide a fire-safe home and more! Bring the whole family! For more information call 479-718-7607.
