S. Buchanan Avenue Closed Wednesday June 8 for Asphalt Overlay

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will be placing an asphalt overlay on S. Buchanan Avenue from W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to W. Bulldog Boulevard on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. This roadway is adjacent the Fayetteville High School on the east side.

S. Buchanan Avenue will be closed to thru traffic during work hours of 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents will be allowed access as needed. Please do not park on the street during work hours, as this will interfere with the construction work. Also, please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.

On behalf of the City of Fayetteville, we would like to express our appreciation for your cooperation and understanding as we perform our work in their area. For additional information on the project, please contact the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division office at 479-575-8228. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
