S. Garland Avenue Closed for Construction of Trail Crossing

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will be building a trail crossing on S. Garland Avenue as part of the segment of Town Branch Trail that runs from Greathouse Park to Razorback Road. Work will begin on Monday, May 16, and will finish on Thursday, May 19.

This will require closure of S. Garland Avenue from W. Boone Street to W. Pettigrew Street during work hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. A detour route will be marked; drivers may use W. Boone Street, S. Stirman Avenue, and W. Pettigrew Street. Large trucks and buses will need to take an alternate route using Razorback Road.

Please use extreme caution when near the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.

On behalf of the City of Fayetteville, we would like to express our appreciation for your cooperation and understanding as we perform our work in this area. For additional information on the project, please contact the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division office at 479-575-8228. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
