N. Garland Avenue (Highway 112) Lane Closures for Asphalt Repair
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will be repairing damaged asphalt caused by a water main break. Asphalt milling and repaving will take place on N. Garland Avenue (Highway 112) from the Wedington Drive/North Street intersection to W. Mount Comfort Road. The project begins on Monday, May 16 and will take approximately three weeks to complete. Please note that rain could extend the estimated time to complete the project.
This work will require alternating lane closures in both the southbound and northbound lanes on N. Garland Avenue during the work hours of 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. At least one lane in each direction will remain open. All lanes will be open outside of work hours. Signage will indicate where lane closures begin and end.
Please use extreme caution when near the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.
On behalf of the City of Fayetteville, we would like to express our appreciation for your cooperation and understanding as we perform our work in their area. For additional information on the project, please contact the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division office at 479-575-8228. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
