Fayetteville Fire Department Holds Monthly Open House through October

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —The Fayetteville Fire Department will be hosting a monthly open house at one of its fire stations from April through October. Each month’s open house features a seasonal fire or life safety theme; April’s theme is Flooding Hazards: Turn Around, Don't Drown!

Fire Station #4, located at 3385 Plainview (off Millsap Road, behind Lewis Car Dealer/Whole Foods), will hold this month’s open house on Tuesday, April 19 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Fire Department invites you to visit the station – explore the fire trucks and other apparatus; tour the station and see where the firefighters eat, sleep and train during their shift. Participants are encouraged to sign-up for a smoke alarm installation and/or a home safety evaluation, which offers information for the whole family on how to provide fire safety at home and much more. Snacks will be provided! Bring the whole family! For more information call 479-718-7607.
