Energy Efficient LED Lights Installed at Bryce Davis Park

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville installed three Light Emitting Diode (LED) pole-mounted parking lot lights in Bryce Davis Park in an effort to improve safety and visibility for park patrons and the neighborhood.

The lights are adjacent to the park’s entry drive at 1595 N. Dartmouth Avenue and within the parking lot. The energy efficient lights have photocell light sensors which means the lights will turn on as visible light diminishes such as during nighttime and dark weather. Compliant with the City’s outdoor lighting ordinance, the hooded LED lights direct illumination to the desired areas while blocking direct lighting of adjacent neighboring homes.
