City to Implement New Online Utility Bill Payment System

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville will implement a convenient, user-friendly, and secure online utility bill payment system for its utility customers on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

This new mobile-friendly website allows customers to securely save payment information, sign up to receive bill reminders via email, and schedule automatic payments from a checking account or credit card. Other features are:

• A “Pay Now” option that allows for quick payment without having to register an account
• Registered account enhancements that include:
o view and pay multiple accounts at once
o view payment history
o view past billing statements.

Additionally, the City will implement a new automated phone payment system with an easy-to-use call flow and features such as quick account balance and payment with a credit card, debit card, or E-Check.

“We are excited about these changes and the additional options our customers now have to pay their utility bills. This system reflects our commitment to providing a superior customer service experience,” said Cheryl Partain. “We recognize that customers want flexibility, accessibility, convenience, and a user-friendly experience without sacrificing security. We believe the new system delivers these features.”
