City seeks public input for CDBG 2023 Action Plan
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville invites public input regarding its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2023 Action Plan, which will detail how the City plans to fund identified needs for low- to moderate-income Fayetteville residents through the CDBG program.
A draft of the Action Plan can be requested by calling 479-575-8260 or emailing community_resources@fayetteville-ar.gov. Also, it can be downloaded at: https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/648/Community-Development-Block-Grant-CDBG.
The following is a summary of the Action Plan and budget:

- HOUSING $ 478,483
- REDEVELOPMENT $ 92,174
- PUBLIC SERVICES $ 75,000
- CASA of NWA $ 10,000
- NWA CoC $ 23,800
- Partners for Better Housing $ 15,215
- WelcomeHealth $ 10,985
- SAFE Program $ 15,000
- TOTAL $ 764,542
The public comment period ends Tuesday, April 11. A public hearing will be held in City Hall, Room 111, at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Comments are due by 5 p.m. April 11. The plan is a requirement for entitlement cities, such as Fayetteville, to receive CDBG funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
