BarkAID’s 50 States Tour Coming To Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — For the fourth year, master hair stylist Patrick Lomantini is traveling the U.S. on his 50 States Tour to raise funds for animal shelters across the country, and this year he is stopping in Northwest Arkansas! Lomantini’s ultimate road trip started on July 31 in Augusta, Maine and will end 50 days later on October 1 in Wichita, Kansas. People are invited to schedule an appointment at the featured salon/school for a special haircut to help raise funds for local animal shelters. The Lomantini Team will make a stop in Fayetteville at the Paul Mitchell School on Thursday, August 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; all proceeds will benefit the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.
Lomantini will be donating his time, resources, and services during the 50 States Tour while asking for donations of $20 or more to help homeless animals. In addition to having the opportunity to receive a haircut from master stylist Lomantini, there will also be adoptable dogs onsite, a bounce house, snow cones, music, and more!
“We are so excited that the great people at the Paul Mitchell School approached us about being part of the BarkAID 50 States Tour,” stated Justine Lentz, shelter superintendent. “This is a much different event than we normally get to participate in and we are looking forward to reaching a new set of people,” Lentz continued. Organizers expect the haircut appointments to book up quickly, so they recommend calling the Paul Mitchell School at 479-442-5181, extension 1. For a minimum $20 donation, you’ll receive a haircut by Mr. Lomantini and a VIP card for a select free service at the Paul Mitchell School on a later date.
