Fayetteville’s duathlon race for women June 11

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs will host its sixth annual Ladies Du Fayetteville race Saturday, June 11. This unique multi-sport race experience welcomes women, non-binary and gender non-conforming athletes to participate.

Ladies Du Fayetteville uses a 2-mile run / 11-mile bicycle ride / 2-mile run format and will take place on the paved trails around and near Lake Fayetteville. Participants have the option of competing individually, as a two-person relay team or a three-person relay team.

The duathlon race will start at 7 a.m. from the Lake Fayetteville Marina. The bike portion of the course utilizes the lake’s paved loop. The Lake Fayetteville paved trail will be closed 7-9 a.m. for the race. For the safety of racers and the general public, please plan ahead and schedule your use of the trail to be after the duathlon race.

Online registration closes Friday, June 10, at 11:59 p.m. Registration fees are $50 for individual entries, $90 for two-person relay entries and $135 for three-person relay entries. All registrations include a technical sleeveless top, headband and a finisher medal. In addition, event photo downloads are provided post-event at no cost.
