Sewer Main Repair to Temporarily Close Innermost Lanes of N. College Avenue from E. Maple Street to E. Trenton Boulevard

The innermost lanes of N. College Avenue, from E. Maple Street to E. Trenton Boulevard, will be closed to repair a sewer main at the intersection of N. College Avenue and E. Davidson Street. The work will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23 with the sewer main repair, followed by concrete patching. The work is expected to be completed by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24.

Traffic flow in the area will be restricted to the outer southbound lane and outer northbound lane. Flaggers will be onsite to assist with traffic flow. Drivers and cyclists should expect delays. Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.

On behalf of the City of Fayetteville, we express our appreciation for your cooperation and understanding as we perform our work in this area. For additional information about the sewer main work and traffic lane closings, please contact the Water and Sewer Division at 479-575-8386.
