Lane change set for Razorback Road at MLK Jr. Blvd. intersection

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The City of Fayetteville Public Works Department will implement a change this week for southbound traffic on S. Razorback Road at the intersection with Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The southbound, outside lane of Razorback will be changed into a right-only (westbound) turning lane. The process will take place Thursday, Oct. 21, and include installing a new turning signal and marking on the road.

Public Works Director Chris Brown said the change is being made to improve capacity of southbound traffic turning right at the intersection, which is one of the busiest in the city – particularly during University of Arkansas events.
