Stop Signs to Be Used For Traffic Control during Relocation of Traffic Signal Poles

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The three-way traffic signals located at the intersection East Huntsville Road and Highway 16 will be turned off temporarily to relocate and rewire the existing traffic signal poles.

The traffic signals will be out of service from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23rd thru the evening; signals will be operational by the morning of Friday, July 24th. Temporary stop signs will be in place at the three-way intersection for traffic control during the signal pole relocation project. Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.

The signal poles are being relocated due to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department’s widening of Highway 16 to add additional traffic lanes and the proposed Kum & Go development.
