Eighth Annual “CDBG in the Park” Celebration Welcomes All
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville’s Community Resources Division invites you to the 8th annual “CDBG in the Park” celebration! The event will be held on Friday, July 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Walker Park’s large pavilion (located at the southeast section of the park next to the basketball courts) in south Fayetteville.
The community picnic is open to the public, and as always, Community Resources staff will be serving up hot dogs, cool drinks, and some fun entertainment. Ice cream and snacks will be provided by Hiland Dairy and Little Debbie. Well behaved pets are also welcome!
“CDBG in the Park” is an opportunity for the City of Fayetteville’s Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) to celebrate its investment in the community, while providing program information to citizens. The event also includes local organizations and businesses who will provide information to the community about the services they offer as well. Everyone is invited to participate in a day of free, family-friendly activities!
For more information about “CDBG in the Park” or any CDBG program, please call the Community Resources Division at 479-575-8260.
