Playground Surface Replacement to Take Place at Rodney Ryan, Sweetbriar, and Bryce Davis Parks

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Three of Fayetteville’s playgrounds will soon be getting new safety surfacing. The existing rubber tile surfacing at the playgrounds at Rodney Ryan, Sweetbriar, and Bryce Davis Parks will be replaced with artificial turf surfacing.   Work is scheduled to begin at Rodney Ryan on Tuesday, May 18, and then progress to Sweetbriar and then Bryce Davis Parks.  Each playground will be closed during installation of the new surfacing.

The work on each playground should take 4 to 6 days, weather permitting. It is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete all three playgrounds. The parks themselves will remain open during the installation.

Thank you for your patience during the closures as these playgrounds are improved. To view an interactive map of all Fayetteville’s parks, visit www.fayetteville-ar.gov/parkmap
