City Seeks Public Input for Community Development Block Grant Action Plan
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville invites public input regarding the 2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The Action Plan details how the City plans to fund identified needs for low- to moderate-income Fayetteville residents through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. A draft of the Action Plan can be downloaded (PDF) at https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/CDBG; or citizens may view a printed copy of the plan at the Community Resources office, 125 W. Mountain Street – Church Street entrance, or at the City Clerk’s office, 113 W. Mountain.
A summary of the Action Plan and budget is presented below:

The Public comment period will be May 10, 2021 – June 8, 2021. A public hearing will be held via Zoom on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. The Zoom link will be posted Friday, May 28, 2021 on the City of Fayetteville’s Public Meetings calendar: https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/calendar.aspx. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Comments about the plan are due by 5 p.m. on June 8, 2021. The plan is a requirement for entitlement cities, such as Fayetteville, to receive CDBG funds through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
