City of Fayetteville to Add New Parking at Kessler Mountain Regional Park

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce a partnership with the Beaver Watershed Alliance to begin work on a new low-impact design parking lot located within Kessler Mountain Regional Park. The new parking lot located on the east corner of the soccer fields, will feature 83 parking spaces. The project is set to begin immediately with expected completion by September 1, 2021.

Parking will be limited over the course of construction. Visitors of Kessler Mountain Regional Park are encouraged to arrive early for games and to consider carpooling when possible.   Cyclists are encouraged to park on the east side of the playground parking lot, which will allow youth game participants to park closer to the playing fields. The City of Fayetteville appreciates park visitors’ patience during this construction, which will improve parking for future years.

For more information about this project, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (479) 444-3471.
