Fayetteville City Council to Hold Special Meeting Wednesday, Aug. 26

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — City of Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan has called a special meeting of the City Council to take place at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26. The meeting will be held virtually with some attendees present in City Council chambers at City Hall.

The special meeting has been called to discuss a resolution that was tabled during the Tuesday, Aug. 18 City Council meeting:

A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE ACCEPTANCE OF A STATE DRUG CRIME ENFORCEMENT AND PROSECUTION GRANT FOR STATE FUNDING OF THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT DRUG TASK FORCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $91,319.00, AND TO AUTHORIZE MAYOR JORDAN TO SIGN ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENT TO RECEIVE THE GRANT FUNDS
