Fayetteville Seeks Artists to Design Artwork for Temporary Construction Fence
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville and Fayetteville Arts Council seek qualified artists, who are residents of Washington County, to create artwork that will be printed on mesh and attached temporary construction fence at two locations in the Cultural Arts Corridor.
Artists are invited to share their resumé and examples of their works through an online Request for Qualification (RFQ) form. The theme is “Nature in the City.” The Fayetteville Arts Council will select four artists to submit proposals and receive a $200 stipend for their work. The Arts Council will then select two of those proposals to be printed and displayed at two locations – S. Gregg Avenue and S. West Avenue. Those artists will receive an additional $850 stipend.
To learn more about the Call for Artists and to submit to the RFQ, visit www.fayetteville-ar.gov/culturalartscorridor.
The deadline for RFQ submissions is Monday, June 22 at 12 p.m. C.S.T.
