Citizens Appointed to City Committees
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Fayetteville City Council unanimously approved the following appointments to several committees at the City Council meeting of June 16, 2015. Appointments are recommended by the Nominating Committee which is made of four City Council members; the 2015 members are Alan Long, Martin Schoppmeyer, Sarah Marsh, and Mark Kinion serving as Chair.
Fayetteville citizen committees consist of mostly volunteer citizens who are devoted to giving their time and expertise on issues relating to each committee. Applicants must be a resident within the city limits of Fayetteville and be a Fayetteville registered voter. Vacancies are advertised and appointments are made quarterly.
