Technology Upgrades to Temporarily Limit City’s Ability to Process Payments
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville is conducting system upgrades to its financial software and unable to process payments online and in-person on Monday, February 3 from 3 to 7 p.m.
During this time, the eUtility and Miscellaneous Billing websites will be down, and the Utility Billing Department will be closed. Additionally, Animal Services, Development Services, Parking Management, Recycling & Trash Collection, Drake Field Airport, and Police Records Department offices will be open but unable to accept payments on-site.
The City launched eUtility, a paperless utility billing system in September of 2010. The eUtility web portal allows customers to:
- Pay utility bills online with credit or debit cards
- Set up auto-payments
- Receive email reminders
- View consumption and account information
- View and download past utility bills
- Opt out of mailed paper bills
- Manage multiple utility accounts with one user profile
Learn how to sign up for eUtility at www.fayetteville-ar.gov/payutilitybill.
This and other technology upgrades are part of Mayor Lioneld Jordan’s commitment to improving digital infrastructure and customer service. More information about the City’s technology improvement efforts can be found here.
