Storm Drain Improvements to Close One Block of West Maple Avenue

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will begin installation of storm drain improvements on Wednesday, June 10th along the south side of W. Maple Street from N. Oliver Avenue to N. Razorback Road.

The construction work will require closing W. Maple Street (from N. Oliver Avenue to N. Razorback Road) during work hours, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; detour routes will be marked. Alumni House staff and visitors will have access to the parking lot via N. Razorback Road. The street will be open to normal traffic nights and weekends.

We estimate construction time to be approximately two weeks. (Please note rain / wet conditions could delay work and extend overall construction time on the project.)

On the behalf of the City of Fayetteville, we would like to express our appreciation for your cooperation and understanding as we perform our work in this area. For additional information on the project, please contact the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division office at 479-575-8228. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
