Celebrate the End of Summer with Your Dog at Second Annual Drool in the Pool

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The City of Fayetteville is celebrating the dog days of summer by hosting an end of summer swimming party at Wilson Park Pool. Don’t miss this opportunity for your dog to splash around with other pups of all sizes at the 2nd annual “Drool in the Pool” event on Monday, September 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Organized by Fayetteville’s Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored by The Canine Connection, this doggy pool party offers furry friends the chance to take a refreshing dip in the Wilson Park Pool. Participants can enjoy concessions, tasty treats from local food trucks, and giveaways provided by The Canine Connections. Prizes will be given away to dogs with the smoothest swimming skills and cutest swimsuit. To partake in the fun – all dogs must be socialized appropriately, have proof of current rabies vaccinations, and be spayed or neutered. A waiver must be signed before entering the facility.

Entry fee for “Drool in the Pool” is $10 per pup and free for the owners. This event is limited to 150 pups. For more information and to purchase tickets in advance please visit www.fayetteville-ar.gov/pool
