Wilson Park Pool Opens for 2015 Season with Dive-In Movie

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite you to the opening of the Wilson Park Pool on Friday, June 5 at 5:00 p.m.

Come celebrate with us as we offer free admission to all for the entire evening. Plan to stay for our unique, one-of-a-kind, Dive-In Movie experience, featuring Toy Story 3. Watch the movie from the swimming pool as it gets projected onto a giant inflatable movie screen placed atop the pool house. All four Dive-In Movies offered throughout the summer are free to the public and begin at sunset. The Dive-In Movie Series is presented by the Fayetteville Firefighter’s Association; the lineup for the summer is:
• June 5 – Toy Story 3
• June 26 – Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
• July 17 – The Lego Movie
• August 7 – Big Hero 6

Swimming lessons are currently open for registration. For information regarding swimming lessons, pool hours, season passes, and all other inquiries – please find us online at http://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/483 or ask one of your friendly Wilson Park Pool staff members.
