Tennis Program Now Offered at Wilson Park

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —  The City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with Ozark Tennis Academy, is now offering a high-quality tennis program at Wilson Park. Designed to meet the needs of everyone from the beginning player to the future collegiate star, this comprehensive program will give all players a chance to realize their potential while also being physically active.

Ozark Tennis Academy has a solid reputation in Northwest Arkansas as a provider of tennis programs. Their successful and passionate coaching staff are endorsed by the United States Tennis Association and have decades of experience working with both youth and adult tennis enthusiasts. Coach Matias DeGenero directs the program and is a certified USPTA Elite Professional who has worked with some the world’s top ranked players.

Participants can register www.fayetteville-ar.gov/tennis and clicking on the link or at www.ozarktennisacademy.com. The eight-week summer session is offered for youth starting at age five through adults. The cost is $95 for the one day a week option or $155 for two days a week. Private lessons can also be scheduled by emailing ozarktennisacademy06@gmail.com.

Sessions are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, with private lessons scheduled individually at convenient times for both player and coach. The Tennis Program will take place in historic Wilson Park at the Tennis Complex, located at 675 N. Park Ave. Wilson Park is Fayetteville’s first and oldest park, beautifully landscaped and nestled in the heart of the City. Fayetteville Parks and Recreation is excited about the new program with Ozark Tennis Academy.
