Public Invited to Provide Feedback on Preliminary Draft of the City’s 71B Corridor Plan

Fayetteville, Ark. — A preliminary draft of the City of Fayetteville’s Master Plan for the 71B Corridor is now available for public review. Last July, the City launched a community planning process to rethink the 71B corridor. Extensive public input was elicited to help planners develop strategies outlined in the draft plan, which is now available for review on the City’s website:  www.fayetteville-ar.gov/71b.

This document is a preliminary draft and should be considered a work in progress. The City welcomes public comment. Those who wish to offer feedback may email City Planner Harry Davis at hdavis@fayetteville-ar.gov or call the City of Fayetteville Planning Division at 479.575.8267.

The draft plan will be presented at the May 13 Planning Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m., in Room 216 of City Hall, 113 W. Mountain Street. The public are welcome to attend this meeting and make comments in person.

Following revisions based on public and City feedback, the target date for presentation of the final 71B Master Plan to City Council is July 2, 2019.
