CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE OFFERS PRESENTATION ON THE BENEFITS OF SHOPPING BULK DEPARTMENTS IN GROCERY STORES 

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.– Have you ever been intimidated by bulk departments in your grocery store? On Thursday, May 2, City of Fayetteville Environmental Educator Taylor Gladwin will offer a free presentation on how to shop bulk departments, step-by-step. The theme is waste reduction by means of responsible and affordable grocery shopping.

In “Bulking Up on Sustainability: Shopping Food Bulk Bins,” you will learn about using bulk departments for conscious and efficient shopping. How to use do-it-yourself bulk bins, what products are available to you and where, and the environmental and financial benefits of bulk departments will all be discussed. Attendees will also learn how to reduce packaging and food waste while grocery shopping.

The presentation is free and no registration is required. Join us for an intriguing and educational evening!
