City Hosts Annual “Progress in Print” Event Celebrating Community Development
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— Save the date! The City’s Community Resources Division is hosting “Progress in Print,” an annual event highlighting the variety of programs funded in Fayetteville by the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
All are welcome to join our dedicated staff on Wednesday, April 24 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville Town Center (15 W. Mountain St.). Enjoy light refreshments as you learn about CDBG-funded community programs, including Housing Rehabilitation and Repair, Transportation Assistance, the Hearth Program, and others. The free event takes place during National Community Development Week.
The City of Fayetteville has been providing much-needed services to low-to-moderate income residents of Fayetteville for over 40 years. CDBG serves as the cornerstone of the federal government’s commitment to partnering with state and local governments to strengthen communities like Fayetteville, improving the quality of life for those in need.
For more information about the event or any of the available CDBG programs, please call the Community Resources Division at 479-575-8260, or visit the Community Development section of the City’s website.
