UA Students to Study Water Flow with Green Dye at Lake Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— University of Arkansas students studying karst hydrogeology are conducting an experiment at Lake Fayetteville this Thursday, April 11. The experiment uses a green fluorescent dye to trace water flow. The environmentally friendly dye may color the lake water. The dye should dissipate within hours and flush through the water flow overnight.

For additional information, please contact Dr. Matt Covington, associate professor of geology at the University of Arkansas by email mcoving@uark.edu or by phone 479-575-3876.
