Public “Studio Session” for City’s 71B Corridor Plan Will Gather Ideas for Uptown Region
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The City of Fayetteville invites the public to participate in two “Studio Sessions” to discuss possible design elements for the northern part of the 71B Corridor project. These will be highly interactive meetings, giving participants an opportunity to discuss their ideas and draw them on maps with City planners and designers from RDG Planning and Design.
“These studio sessions give a lot of freedom for people to make suggestions,” said Harry Davis, Planner with the City of Fayetteville. “Nothing is set in stone at this point, so we want to hear your ideas for the corridor’s future.”
Although the session will include an overall look at the entire 71B corridor as a whole, the primary focus will be on the uptown area between I-49 and College Avenue, including the mall.
