Technology Upgrades to Temporarily Limit City’s Ability to Process Payments

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville is conducting technology upgrades to its financial software. This activity will limit the ability to process payments in person and web payments as follows:

  • Thursday, January 17: In-person payments will not be accepted after 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 17: Web payment will not be accepted from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
  • Friday, January 18 will resume all normal activities related to processing payments

You can learn how to make online payments at this webpage.

This upgrade will update the City’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to the latest version. The new ERP version provides the foundation for future enhancements to utility web payments and centralizing over-the-counter payment processing into a single software application. Both of these future enhancements are part of the Mayor’s commitment to digital infrastructure and improved customer service.
