The City of Fayetteville transportation division will begin construction of pedestrian crosswalk and access ramp improvements across Lafayette St. at the Highland Avenue intersection
Work will include curb realignment, solar powered flashing beacon and improved access ramps.
Work will take place on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The project is estimated to take 3 weeks. Work will require restricting traffic to one lane during work hours. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic, please allow extra driving time.
Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment. The street will be reopened to full traffic nights and weekends.
