City Reminds Business to Renew Business License by October 31
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The City of Fayetteville is reminding businesses to renew their business license by Wednesday, October 31 to avoid late fees. The renewal fee is $15 and can be made online, in person, or by mail from September 1 through October 31, 2018.
Since 2011, all businesses, including home-based businesses, within the incorporated city limits of Fayetteville must obtain a business license unless the business qualifies for an exemption. Please visit the business license webpage to apply for a license, renew a license, or learn more.
RENEW ONLINE
All Business Licenses can be renewed online, even if the original application was a paper one. To renew online, visit our webpage and click on the “Renew Business License” link. Debit and credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) are accepted.
RENEW IN PERSON
To renew in person, please visit the Development Services office, located at 125 W. Mountain Street. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed on federal holidays).
RENEW BY MAIL
To renew by mail, send a check or money order, payable to “City of Fayetteville.” Please include your Business License number (located on your current Business License) or the physical address of the business. The address to send your renewal is:
City of Fayetteville

The City sends Business License renewal notices by mail and email in late August. Once the payment and license are processed, the renewed business license will be emailed to the email address listed on the account.
