Celebrate the End of Summer with Your Dog at “Drool in the Pool”
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The dog days of summer have passed, and the City of Fayetteville is celebrating with an end-of-summer dog pool party. Don’t miss a chance for your pup to splash around with other dogs of all sizes at the inaugural “Drool in the Pool” event at the Wilson Park Swimming Pool on Monday, September 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Organized by the Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored by The Canine Connection, the doggy pool party will allow our furry friends a chance to enjoy a refreshing dip in Wilson Park Pool. Concessions and local food trucks will be on site. Participants will enjoy giveaways provided by Canine Connection.
To partake in the fun, dogs must be socialized appropriately, have proof of current rabies vaccinations, and be spayed or neutered. A waiver must be signed before entering the facility.
Entry fee for “Drool in the Pool” is $10 per pup and free for the owners. $5 of each entry fee will be go to Fayetteville Animal Services to continue the great work they do in our community.
