FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Starting Tuesday, May 19th, the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will close one eastbound lane of W. 15th Street (between S. School Avenue and S. College Avenue) to install curb and gutter, sidewalk, and a crosswalk approach for the Town Branch Trail; the project is estimated to take two weeks.

Trail construction will require closing one of the two eastbound lanes of W. 15th Street to thru traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays from Tuesday, May 19th through Tuesday, June 2nd. Please note that rain could delay work and extend the construction project schedule. Traffic will be allowed on W. 15th Street during weekends and non-work hours; residents will be allowed access during construction hours and signs will be in place. Please use extreme caution when traveling in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.

On the behalf of the City of Fayetteville, we express our appreciation for your cooperation and understanding as we perform our work in this area. For additional information on the project, please contact Joey Smith or call the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division office at 479-575-8228. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
