Sidewalk Project Closes Section of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard for Four Weeks


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division is installing a missing section of sidewalk on the north side of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Jefferson Center.


Construction will require closing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between S. College Avenue and S. Washington Avenue to thru traffic during the work hours of 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from July 10 through August 3. Detour routes will be marked. Thru traffic will be allowed during non-work hours and on weekends.


Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.
