The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will begin construction of the missing section of sidewalk along the north side of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. from S. College Avenue east toward Washington Avenue Monday, July 9th. Work will take place on weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The project is estimated to take 4 weeks.
Construction will require closing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between S. College Avenue and Washington Ave. to through traffic during work hours of 6:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Detour routes will be marked. Through traffic will be allowed during non-work hours. Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.
