City Staff Seeks Input from Professionals Regarding Chapter 167: Tree Preservation and Protection
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The City of Fayetteville’s urban foresters are hosting a public meeting for developers, engineers, and design professionals who are regularly involved with the development review process, particularly with implementation of Chapter 167: Tree Preservation and Protection of City’s Unified Development Code.
City staff is seeking insight and recommendations to improve the functionality of the code for both public users and City administration while still maintaining the code’s purpose. Please bring ideas that would improve the efficiency of this code.
The meeting is on Thursday, July 12 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Fayetteville Public Library (401 W. Mountain St.) in the Henry Board Room. Comments can also be emailed to jscott@fayetteville-ar.gov. To learn more about the Fayetteville’s Urban Forestry program, please visit this webpage.
