Improvements to Rolling Hills Drive and Old Missouri Road Intersection
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will be making improvements to the intersection of E. Rolling Hills Drive and Old Missouri Road this summer. At the intersection, eastbound Rolling Hills Drive will be remarked with left and right turn lanes. Stop bars will be marked on the pavement to indicate where drivers and bicyclists are required to stop in compliance with the signal. New three-way traffic signals will also be installed at the intersection and operational by the beginning of the school year in August, barring any unforeseen delays in delivery of equipment and control hardware.
The intersection improvements will provide a more efficient traffic flow around Butterfield Elementary School as well as increased safety for drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians. To learn more about streets, sidewalks, and traffic control in Fayetteville – please visit this webpage.
