Dickson St. and Arkansas Ave. Intersection Closed for Improvements
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Transportation Division will be making improvements to the W. Dickson Street and Arkansas Avenue intersection. Crews will be reconstructing the entire intersection and replacing it with new asphalt and Thermoplastic brick crosswalks. Rain or unforeseen problems could delay this project. With good weather and no complications, we hope to finish this project on time or sooner. The intersection will be closed to all traffic during the following construction times:
CLOSED: W. Dickson Street and Arkansas Avenue intersection
Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, June 15.
6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
Access to residences and businesses will be allowed. The intersection will be closed to all vehicle traffic; sidewalks will remain open. Detour signs will be posted accordingly. Please see the back of this letter for a detour map.
