Animal Shelter Waives Dog Adoption Fee Due to Upcoming Renovations

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Lib Horn Animal Shelter of Fayetteville is happy to announce that all dog adoption fees will be waived on April 27, 28, and 30. This Friday and Saturday and the following Monday – there will be no fee to adopt a new canine family member!

“We are renovating our adoptable dog room to make it more enriching for the dogs and more welcoming for the public. To make these important improvements - we need to empty our adoptable dog room,” said Anthony Rankin, animal shelter programs manager. “We need the help of our community to adopt our available dogs and help empty the space.”

Adopters will still go through the normal application process and need to be approved. All adopted dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Cat adoption fees are only $20 and include the same services. Adoptable pets may be seen at the following link: http://fayettevillear.animalshelternet.com

Fayetteville Animal Services is located at 1640 S. Armstrong Avenue; the shelter is open to the public Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. If you have questions, please call 479.444.3456.
