[ARCHIVED] Fayetteville Businesses Recognized with Gold and Bronze Bicycle Friendly Business Awards

The League of American Bicyclists is a non-profit membership organization that promotes cycling for fun, fitness, and transportation through advocacy and education. The League of American Bicyclists recognizes businesses that encourage a more welcoming atmosphere for bicycling employees, customers, and the community. The City of Fayetteville recognizes the following businesses for earning a Bicycle Friendly Business designation in 2015 from the League of American Bicyclists:

Crown Barbershop – Gold
Garver Engineering – Gold
Viridian – Gold
Fayetteville Public Library – Bronze
Maurice Jennings Architects – Bronze
Highroller Cyclery – Bronze

There are sixteen designated Bicycle Friendly Businesses in Arkansas and seven of those are in Fayetteville. The three Fayetteville businesses designated gold join a select group of just 120 businesses nation-wide that have earned the distinction.
