Drainage Improvements to Restrict Traffic on Elm Street and Green Acres Road
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — As part of the Green Acres Road Improvement Project, the City of Fayetteville Transportation Division is installing stormwater drain pipes across Elm Street at the Green Acres Road intersection on Monday, March 12 from 7 a.m. through approximately 5 p.m.
The construction work will require closing Elm Street at the Green Acres Road intersection. Motorists will be required to access Elm Street, Baker Drive, and Erstan Avenue from Gregg Avenue. The work will also require restricting traffic on Green Acres Road (between Colt Square and Poplar Street) to one lane.
Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic. Motorists should expect traffic delays and may want to use alternate routes. Detour routes will be marked.
Please use extreme caution when in the work area and watch for personnel and equipment.
