Public Invited to Panel Discussion About Preservation of Historic Resources


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The City of Fayetteville Planning Division and Historic District Commission is hosting an informational panel discussion on potential protections for historic resources. Christine Myers, chair of the commission, will facilitate the discussion. Panelists are:

  • Ed Zimmer, historic preservation planner with the City of Lincoln, Neb., who will talk about experiences with Lincoln’s unique ordinance
  • Catherine Barrier, local government coordinator with the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, who will discuss a more traditional approach to preserving historic districts

The public is invited to attend the discussion on Monday, Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of Ozarks Natural Foods (1554 N. College Avenue).
